Dr. Gediminas Samulėnas is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon and Doctor of Medical Sciences with more than 10 years of clinical experience. He performs over 250 surgical procedures annually, including facelifts, combined aesthetic surgeries, breast procedures, and body contouring operations.
Alongside his surgical practice, Dr. Samulėnas is actively engaged in academic and scientific work. He completed his doctoral research in plastic and reconstructive surgery, focusing on molecular and genetic aspects of connective tissue disorders, with publications in peer-reviewed international journals such as Genes, Medicina, and the European Journal of Plastic Surgery. His research interests include wound healing, Dupuytren's contracture, regenerative therapies, and evidence-based surgical innovation.
He serves as a lecturer at Kaunas College and has held leadership roles within the academic community, including membership in university governance bodies.
