Voices from the meeting

As a plastic surgeon, I strongly believe that progress in our field does not happen in isolation — it happens through collaboration. This conference was created as a platform to build meaningful professional networks, openly share knowledge, and engage in thoughtful discussions about both surgical techniques and clinical philosophy. When surgeons come together to exchange insights, challenge perspectives, and learn from one another, we elevate not only our individual practice, but the entire specialty.

Andrius Pajėda
Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon, Conference Organiser

As plastic surgeons, we carry not only skill in our hands, but responsibility in our experience. I feel truly obligated to share the knowledge I have gained over the years — the lessons learned in the operating room, the philosophy behind decision-making, the nuances that are never written in textbooks. But for me, this conference is not only about teaching. It is equally about listening — to younger plastic surgeons, to their ideas, their questions, their different perspectives shaped by a new generation and new technologies. Growth in our field must go both ways — from experience to innovation, and from innovation back to experience.

Plastic Surgeon, São Paulo, Brazil

I strongly believe that the work of a plastic surgeon begins long before we enter the operating room. It starts at the very first consultation — when we meet the patient, listen carefully, understand expectations, and build trust. It continues when we mark the body before surgery, translating anatomy, experience, and aesthetic vision into precise surgical planning. That is why I am particularly happy that this conference includes a practical session on surgical drawing and marking. This step is not a formality — it is one of the most critical parts of the entire surgical process.
