Dr. Simonas Kaupas is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon with more than 16 years of medical experience, whose clinical work combines aesthetic surgery with complex reconstructive procedures. His surgical practice covers aesthetic operations, breast reconstruction, facial nerve repair, hand and wrist surgery, and reconstruction of soft tissue and bone defects following trauma or oncological treatment.
His training pathway includes medical studies at Vilnius University followed by residency programs in orthopaedics–traumatology and later plastic and reconstructive surgery. This multidisciplinary background provides a strong foundation in musculoskeletal and soft-tissue reconstruction, particularly in cases involving trauma, nerve injury, and functional restoration.
Dr. Kaupas has gained international experience through professional training and fellowships in Sweden, France, the Czech Republic, and Nepal, with a particular focus on hand surgery, reconstructive techniques, and complex defect management. His clinical approach integrates microsurgical principles, functional reconstruction, and aesthetic considerations.
